2 × 2 inches (about 51 × 51 mm) is the US passport photo size, and 5 of the 83 documents on SafeResize use it, including the US passport and the US Green Card. Other places that ask for it include Egypt, Ethiopia and the Philippines, and it is a common square size for other forms too.
The tool below opens with 2 × 2 inches at 300 DPI, which is 600 × 600 pixels. The DPI is saved in the file, so a print shop or your printer makes it exactly 2 inches wide. Print at actual size (100%), not "fit to page".

Your photo is probably not square, so you choose: "Fill the frame" cuts off the edges, "Show all of it" adds white edges. For a passport photo, use "Fill the frame" and drag the face to the middle.
