Scan several pages into one PDF

Before you start

A document with several pages is easier to send as one file. Add every page, up to 30, from the camera or from photos you already have. Then check them in a list: turn a page, drag its corners, move it up or down, or remove it. The PDF follows the order of the list.

One look is used for all the pages (Auto, Black and white, Grey or Original), and any single page can have its own. The page size is A4, US Letter, or Auto, which keeps each page in the shape of its scan, so a receipt stays a narrow strip.

Tips

• Put the pages in order before you start, and photograph them one after another from the same height and in the same light, so they look alike in the PDF.
• Forgot a page? Use "Add photos" or "Add pages with the camera" under the list, then move the new page to the right place with the arrow buttons.
• If the form has a size limit, choose it on the last step. Sharpness is lowered only as far as needed, and the result shows the size before you download.

A checklist for a document with many pages

1. Put the pages in order first, and photograph them one after another on the same plain surface, from the same height.
2. Keep the whole page in view each time, with a little space around it.
3. On the list, look at every page. The outline can be wrong, especially for a page that fills the whole frame. Press "Adjust corners" and drag the corners onto the page.
4. An open book or a two-page spread is outlined as one page. To scan each page on its own, photograph one page at a time.
5. Choose the look and the page size. If the form has a limit, choose it on the last step: as a guide, 30 pages under 2 MB is about 66 KB a page.
