Have a folder of scans to send? Add up to 25 PDFs at once and choose one size for all of them, such as 200 KB or 2 MB. SafeResize works through the files one after another, on your own device.
When it finishes, you get a list with a download button for each PDF, and one ZIP with everything. A PDF that is already under your limit is kept as it is, unless it has editing limits: those are removed when it is rebuilt. A PDF locked with a password is skipped, with a plain message that says why.
If a form gives one limit for all your documents together, divide it. For example, 2 MB for 5 documents is 2,000,000 bytes shared by 5 files, about 400,000 bytes (390 KB) each. Type a little less, such as 350 KB, so there is room to spare. Files that are already smaller stay as they are, so the total is often lower.
If each document has its own limit, type that number instead. One size applies to the whole batch, so when two websites need two sizes, run the batch twice.

It is kept unchanged, so its text stays selectable. Only files that are over your limit are made smaller.
Each page becomes a picture. Text can no longer be selected, and form fields, links, bookmarks and digital signatures are not kept. A PDF that was already small enough is kept as it is, with all of these. Keep your originals.
A PDF that needs a password to open cannot be changed here. The list says which file was skipped and why. Save a copy without the password in your PDF app, then add it again.
