Before you start

A single phone photo is often 2 to 5 MB, and a PDF made from it keeps that size. To fit a 100 KB limit, the pages have to shrink by well over 90%.

Tips

Tick "Black & white" for printed text and forms. It makes the file much smaller.

Can a PDF of several photos really be under 100 KB?

For a few simple pages, yes. Many pages or busy colour photos may not fit. The result page tells you the size, and says so if it is over the limit.

Will the text stay readable?

For one to three pages of a typical document, usually. The result page shows page 1 exactly as saved, so zoom in on small print before you upload.

Which paper size should I choose?

A4 is used in most countries. US Letter is used in the United States, Canada and a few others, such as Mexico and the Philippines. If the form does not say, A4 is the safe choice.
